It has excellent line and load regulation capabilities. EUP3484A car charger replacement chip QT5460 can work in the input range of 4.5V to 36V, and the output can be set through an external resistor divider from 0.925V to 20V.
Fault state protection includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. In shutdown mode, the regulator consumes 1µA of supply current. Programmable soft start can minimize inrush power current and output overshoot during initial startup. Automatic pulse skipping mode operation increases the efficiency at light load.
